Fantastic Cruise but Disappointments at Ganges

Love the book! My wife and I have each probably read it front to back a couple of hundred times and we still can't put it down. Every time we are cruising and she asks me if I'd like to get a book to read I reply “Why do I need a book? I'd rather just read the Waggoner.”

Anyway...last week we were up in Ganges (our home port is Seattle) and after reading the reviews on the different marinas we came to select the Ganges Marina mostly for the pool/hot tub feature. Turns out they do have a pool and hot tub, however, they are boarded up and look as if they haven’t been in use for some time. Additionally, they were down to one shower and the restrooms/shower/laundry which were not kept quite up to our standards. The staff was friendly although moorage was high. Let’s just say that even Roche Harbor is a better deal.

Otherwise a fantastic cruise through Montague Bay, Wallace Island, Cowichen Bay, Poets Cove, Fisherman Bay, Langley, Flounder Bay and of course, one of our favorites....Roche. Beautiful weather to boot. Thanks again for the stellar production!
