Port of Brownsville
This is One of Puget Sound’s Most Protected Secrets. If you want the amenities of a huge marina, but not the crowds and pressure, come to the Port of Brownsville. We’re in Burke Bay on the western shore of Port Orchard Waterway, midway between Poulsbo and Bremerton. Look for our large sign on the east breakwater and enter from the south side. Use our amenities. We have secure moorage in new 40-foot slips, plus 550 linear feet on our north and east breakwaters, and plenty of 24-foot slips—all with water and 30 amp power. Our restrooms, showers and laundromat are clean and comfortable. The fuel dock has gasoline, diesel fuel and lubricants, and we have propane available. We have two complimentary pump-outs and portapotty stations. The full service Deli has an outstanding wine selection, beer, pop, and ice; plus soups, sandwiches, snacks, and some marine supplies. Trailer boat facilities, too. We have a 2-lane launch ramp and lots of paved parking. We’re an excellent home base for a trailer boat cruise. Boating groups welcome. Make group reservations for breakwater moorage and use of our Pavilion and Overlook Park. Picnic grounds have tables and charcoal BBQs. Overlook Park has a fire pit and horseshoe pitch. Large propane BBQs and Patio Heaters are available for rent. The Brownsville Yacht Club has a banquet room available (modest rent). We hope you’ll come visit us.
