“Visited Links” Feature Changed

Due to one of our readers comments, we have reinstated visited links, but they will now be dark blue, instead of gray.

At some point in the future, we will be manually modifying the links in the lists at the bottom of the Home page so they remain black, even if you have visited them at some time, since these are not links that people would only read once.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Some of you will notice, if you refresh the site view, that items you have visited are no longer shown in gray.

We realized it doesn’t make sense to use the feature of coloring “visited links” since this site doesn’t replace articles or list items on a daily basis and also because many of you will be visiting some links multiple times to access the lists of items we have on many of the content pages.

We think this will make the site look nicer and hope it does not cause anyone any inconvenience.
