Hi Bob:

Minor correction to the Guide. It appears on page 246, third column under Knight Inlet. Fifth line of that paragraph has an incorrect spelling for the Klinaklini River. (You spell it Klinalini.) Please add the second “k” in the name. (I have many pleasant memories fishing the Cariboo/Chilcotin region of BC. And one of the small towns on the way in towards the best lakes of the Chilcotin is named “Kleena Kleene” which is a First Nations village named for the river you mention.)

John,

Thanks for the correction. I checked my chart and by golly we’d been spelling the name wrong for years. I just made the change, so it will appear correctly in the 2010 edition.

Many people would think this correction would be too small to bring to our attention. I’m glad you saw it differently. We want the Waggoner to be absolutely correct in every way possible. Keep your eyes peeled for more errors, and let us know.
